Pickles

I think the pickles failed. There was some weird stuff going on in there. Some cucumbers got soft and fell apart. Others held together and didn’t get soft. Can one get sick by eating them? Is it dangerous to try? I’m scared.

  1. yeah I’m gonna go out on a limb and say don’t eat the questionable pickles… maybe a good slogan for life right there.

  2. Yeah, Hillary and I tasted tiny bits and there was something off. I started a new batch on Sunday with two important adjustments: I’m using bottled water and I cut off the “blossom end,” which has enzymes that can cause the pickles to soften. I am confident in this batch.
